“我完蛋了”英语怎么说？别告诉我是“I'm over”

很多人在国内学了几年英语，出国留学后，会经常感慨：

“我感觉自己学的是假英语”。

比如大家常常说的：

“How are you?”、

“I'm fine. Thank you. And you?”

其实在美国，大家常用的却是

“How are you doing?"或者”What's up？”

那么“我完蛋了”这句话该怎么说呢

01神奇的I'm over ≠ 我完蛋了

over 作形容词，相当于finished，completed

表示“结束了”的意思

但口语中，可以说某件事over了

例：This semester is over.这学期结束了。

但是不能说某人over了

老外也不会说“I'm over”！

需要注意的是，可以在后面加sb

说I'm over sb = 不在乎某人；不爱某人了

例：I am over you. 我不爱你了。

I'm screwed.

screwed 有“搞砸，完蛋”的意思

sb's screwed = 某人搞砸了，某人完蛋了

例：A：My boss asked me to finish this task before 14:00, but I just got started.老板让我下午两点之前完成任务,然而我才刚开始。B：I'm screwed!我要完蛋了！

I'm dead.

我完蛋了。

如果一个人严肃的对你说：You're dead!

通常意味着你有麻烦了

例：A: I forgot her birthday. I didn't have any gifts.我忘记她的生日了，什么礼物都没有。B: You're dead!你完蛋了！

I'm dead.在口语中还有另外一层意思：

used to indicate that one thinks something is extremely funny (so much so that they've died laughing). 即：用来指某人认为某件事非常好笑(好笑到快笑死了)

I'm toast.

be toast 在英文词典里是这样解释的：

If someone tells you that you are toast, you are in a lot of trouble. If someone is toast, you mean that they are certain to be defeated or destroyed.

所以someone is toast. 表示“某某完蛋了”

很地道的一个表达

需要注意的是，这里用toast，而不是toasted

例：If I don't do what they ask, I'm toast.如果我不去做他们要求的事，我就完蛋了。
