A press briefing for the 2020 World Fireworks Conference - Global Fireworks Industry Expo was held on January 8. It announced that the expo will be held in Changsha in April.

The expo will be hosted by the China Fireworks and Firecrackers Association, China Grocery Products for Daily Use Marketing Society, and Changsha Municipal People's Government. Hundreds of fireworks merchants from 36 foreign countries such as the United States, Canada, Russia, Germany, France, and Japan, and more than 3,600 domestic fireworks wholesalers and 2,000 manufacturers, will attend.

Four parallel forums will be held during the World Fireworks Conference, focusing on such topics as the high-quality development of fireworks industry, international creative art fireworks, and the transformation and upgrading of fireworks supply and sales. This will move the fireworks industry towards high-quality development featuring cultural creativity, cultural and tourism integration, and intelligent technology.

The expo will cover an exhibition area of about 50,000 square meters. More than 1,200 fireworks enterprises from home and abroad will participate, and over 3,000 new-type safe and environment-friendly art fireworks and drug-free sprayers, and intelligent somatosensitive fireworks equipment will be displayed. In addition, more than 10 order-placing meetings for fireworks manufacturers will be organized, with an estimated order value of 40 billion yuan.

湖南日报·新湖南客户端1月9日讯（记者 王文 通讯员 金岚）1月8日下午，2020世界烟花大会·全球精品烟花产业博览会新闻发布会在长沙召开，宣布这次大会将于今年4月21日至23日在湖南国际会展中心举行。

2020世界烟花大会·全球精品烟花产业博览会由中国烟花爆竹协会、中国日用杂品流通协会、长沙市政府、株洲市政府与江西萍乡市政府联合主办。将有来自美国、加拿大、俄罗斯、德国、法国、日本等36个国家和地区的数百名烟花客商，国内3600多家烟花批发商和2000余家生产企业参加。世界烟花大会将举办烟花高质量发展主论坛、国际创意艺术焰火论坛、供销烟花转型升级发展研讨会等平行论坛，以促进烟花产业向文化创意、文旅融合、智能科技等高质量方向发展。

全球精品烟花产业博览会展览面积约5万平方米，有1200多家来自国内外的烟花企业参展，展出产品包括3000多个新型安全环保艺术精品烟花和无药喷花机、智能体感烟花设备等。主办方将组织10场以上烟花厂商直接订货会。此外，现场将举办全球烟花产业领域评选颁奖活动，首次从全球烟花产业领域评选出20名精英人物。

主办方表示，将通过此次活动，更好地树牢安全是烟花产业发展生命线的理念，推动烟花产业可持续发展。
