第一篇文章的标题是Dinosaurs，讲述了作者想要一个什么样的恐龙宠物，以及原因。

来看这篇文章：

我希望恐龙还活着。

2.I would like to have one for a pet.

我想要一个当宠物。

3.I think they would be really fun to ride on.

我想骑上去一定很好玩。

4.I want a really tall one.

我想要一个很高的。

5.That way I can be as tall as my school!

这样我就可以和我的学校一样高了!

6.I like the ones that have sharp teeth.

我喜欢那些有锋利牙齿的。

7.I would like that one as a pet, too.

我也想要那只作为宠物。

8.That way I can scare my big brother.

这样我就能吓到我哥哥了。

9.He is always mean to me but if I had a dinosaur my brother would have to be nice.

他总是对我很刻薄。如果我有只恐龙，我哥哥肯定会对我很好。

这是一个由but引导的并列句。
but前面是个完整的句子He is always mean to me，
but后面是一个由if引导的条件状语从句，
if I had a dinosaur是从句，
主句是my brother would have to be nice。

10.I hope I can have a dinosaur one day.

我希望有一天我能有一只恐龙。

问题是：

1.Why does the author want a toy dinosaur?

为什么作者想要一个玩具恐龙?

tallest是tall的最高级，表示最高的。

can be found是被动语态，指“被发现” 。

3.Their long necks help them to eat leaves from tall trees.

它们的长脖子帮助它们吃高大树上的叶子。
